Fiberthane Planning Guide
Step 1: Measure the perimeter of your project where balustrades
will be installed.
Step 2: Determine newel post locations. Newel posts are
recommended at all corners/angles, and for spans over 16’ in
length.
Step 3: Determine rail lengths. The length between the posts is the required rail length. Round up to the nearest foot when ordering
Step 4: Determine number of balusters needed. Divide the rail
length by the baluster on center spacing (OCS) to determine the number of balusters for each opening.
