The shutters of the Architectural Collection beautifully reflect the time-honored look and functionality of traditional shutter design. With a mix of advanced, superior-quality materials, these shutters provide a lifetime of classic exterior charm without any maintenance required. The fully functional shutters of the Architectural Collection are comprised of our Raised Panel, Louvered Colonial, Combination and Bahama shutter styles. These shutters are historically-accurate and have been approved by numerous historical districts and preservation societies.

QUALITY CRAFTING

Our level of detail requires that shutter components be hand-cut and hand-assembled to meet your exact specifications. The Architectural Collection uses modern materials with a centuries-old technique of mortise and tenon joinery to provide the strongest structural joint.

AMAZINGLY RICH COLOR

Our advanced finishing process gives you enduring, vibrant color. Every Architectural Collection shutter receives two coats of specially-formulated, industrial grade, 2-part urethane finish paint. Our oven-curing process turns the paint into a permanently-bonded, hardened shell with deep color. Our partnership with the world leader in finishes allows us to match most any color.

BOLD DESIGN AT EVERY LEVEL

Architectural Collection shutter frames feature unsurpassed durability due to the strength of the marine-grade fiberglass used in our proprietary stile and louver designs.

We use our own proprietary, exterior grade composite wood to manufacture solid, sturdy shutter panels. Our composite is created using a patented steam-injection process that combines wood with zinc borate and phenolic resins for extreme toughness.

Shutter rails are crafted from single-sheet, structural grade PVC delivering strength and stability, and allowing for custom rail sizing in louver style only. The specialized tooling of each of our selected materials enables the creation of fine, historically correct detail.

BOARD-N-BATTEN EXTERIOR ATLANTIC CLASSIC SHUTTERS

In it’s simplest form the Board-n-Batten shutters has been rumored to be the first style of shutter invented. The vertical members are referred to as the boards and the horizontal members are referred to as the battens. This classic style is perfect for ranch style homes or homes that won’t to reflect historical significance and simplicity
